The Story
Owen is a handsome traditional teddy bear crafted from a beautifully dense slightly wavy golden caramel coloured mohair fabric. He features beige wool-felt paw pads, black glass eyes and carefully embroidered brown nose and curious smile. Owen is stuffed with polyester stuffing and plastic pellets, which gives him a more cuddly and soft feel.
Owen is a one-of-a-kind design made especially for The Bear Garden.

Barbara-Ann Bears are made by talented husband and wife team of Barbara-Ann and Andy Cunningham in Scotland. They are known around the world for their creative, colourful and wacky designs! Barbara hand-dyes her own mohair and fabrics, and as nearly every bear is a one-of-a-kind creation, no two are ever the same! Andy has the painstaking task of embroidering the noses. This is done from many layers of co-ordinating, soft-cotton tapestry thread, which perfectly complement the bear's mohair.
