The Story
Spike is a cute and crazy little bear crafted from gorgeously dense and wavy caramel coloured mohair fabric mottled with brown. He is partially stuffed with poly-pellets to give him a slightly weighted feel and has soft, animal print foot pads. Spike features hand-painted eyes decorated with felt lids, a hand stitched nose in complementary colours and tufty chin and ears - as well as spiky, tipped mohair on his head - hence his namesake!

Barbara-Ann Bears are made by talented husband and wife team of Barbara-Ann and Andy Cunningham in Scotland. They are known around the world for their creative, colourful and wacky designs! Barbara hand-dyes her own mohair and fabrics, and as nearly every bear is a one-of-a-kind creation, no two are ever the same! Andy has the painstaking task of embroidering the noses. This is done from many layers of co-ordinating, soft-cotton tapestry thread, which perfectly complement the bear's mohair.
